Engineering Technician III (Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic)

Description:	Performs repair, fabrication, modification, and installation of sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. This posting is for bid purposes.
Duties:	• Sheet metal mechanic work requires knowledge of the physical properties and working characteristics of sheet metal, knowledge of tools and equipment required in the sheet metal trade, and knowledge of shop mathematics and principles. • May be called upon to perform aviation welding. • Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:	• High School Diploma or equivalent • At least 6 years of relevant experience. • Must be a US Citizen • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. I. May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
