Creating drawings of sheet metal parts - CoCreate User Forum

Hey guys ,

I've been drawing some sheet metal parts recently using the newest version of Creo elements direct and the "basic sheets" tool . While I think I've got a pretty good grasp of how to create bent sheet metal parts, creating drawings from them is proving to be a bit challenging... I'm still pretty new as an engineer, so I'm not quite sure what the industry standard for this type of drawing would look like, but the guy who does some sheet metal work here at our company would like if my drawings showed the actual bend lines on a flattened (i.e. unfolded) sheet metal part drawing. What's happening now is the tangent lines are showing up (so where each bend would be, 2 lines show up, one on either side of where the part would need to be lined up in a bender.

Is there any way to get the drawings to show the actual line where the "corner" of the bend would be located (or center line or crease, or whatever you want to call it) vs the lines at the start and end of the radius?

Best cheat I've found so far was to make my bend radius so small that the two lines appear as one in the final drawing...
