Goddard Technologies Inc. is a growing, local, full service Product Development and Engineering firm, seeking an experienced, creative, and talented Mechanical Engineer ready to take on the world of innovations and help contribute to a well-rounded creatively savvy team.

The successful candidate will participate in and support engineering design teams, both internally and externally, and provide expertise as necessary and required.

Qualifications & Key Success Factors:
• Minimum 2-5 years designing with plastics, sheet metal, extrusions, castings, mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Knowledge of fabrication processes for sheet metal components.
• Prior experience using finite element analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal applications is a plus.
• Candidate must have the ability to manage projects within preset timelines. Prior experience preparing detail prints for fabricated parts is essential.

Attributes/Skills Required:
• Strong ProlEngineer or Solidworks CAD modeling and design experience.
• COZMOS Structural (FEA) experience.
• CFDesign Thermal (FEA) experience.
• Understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to build relationships and function within a team environment.
• Possess a strong initiative and creativity in problem solving.
• Ability to provide solutions toward a strategic goal.
• Effective at presenting solutions and designs to small to large audiences.
• Able to work with members of all levels of an organization.
• Strong desire to succeed in all that you do.

Requirements:
• BS Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.
